Experience WTSFest Philly before attending

Howdy Reader,

WTSFest Philadelphia is coming up on October 1st & we're trying something new...

I know I've said "no" or didn't sign up for events, activities, just new things in general because I didn't know what to expect when I got there. Not knowing was enough of a barrier for me to skip grabbing the ticket or hitting that RSVP button all together.

One of the things Areej & I try to do with WTSFest is help people understand what it will feel like before they arrive - all our past photo galleries on the landing page, an FAQs section, a Slack channel to connect with everyone ahead of time & ask us questions.

This is something new we're trying - a live chat with myself, Areej, past attendees, speakers, & our emcee, next Tuesday, June 23rd at 11 AM EDT / 8AM PDT.

In addition to us, chat with folks like:

  • Heather Hamilton - our USA emcee who's experienced WTSFest from so many angles - as a attendee, volunteer, & speaker.
  • Victoria Larson - WTSFest Philly 2023 was Victoria's first conference ever. Since then she's been a repeat attendee, speaker, & volunteer (& always makes us smile, sporting WTS nails 💅).
  • Krystal Taing - attended multiple WTSFests as a sponsor behind the Uberall exhibitor table & as a speaker on our stage.
  • Susan Staupe - has been to both our Philly & Portland conferences as an attendee & volunteer supporting others to have a great experience.

We'll share how & why we design WTSFest the way we do, what the experience is like, & answer any questions you have (no questions is too big, too small, or too "in my feels").

Go here to sign up & add it to your calendar

It'll be hosted via a Zoom meeting so we can see everyone (who wants to leave their camera on), call on folks who'd like to share, & have two-way conversations instead of a one-way broadcast.

Whether you already have a ticket, are thinking about it, or are just curious about WTSFest in general - come join us!

>> Hit reply with any questions, thoughts, feelings!
I'd love to hear from you 💜

Hope to see ya there!
Erin

P.S. Go Birds! 🦅
