We're back! 👋

Hey Reader,

Happy New Year ✨

We’re refreshed and excited for what’s ahead.

2026 is already shaping up to be a big year for WTS, and we can’t wait to share what we’re working on with you!

Thank you to this week's WTSNewsletter sponsor: SEOTesting & withFrontier

Let's get started!

Our latest WTSKnowledge

From Self-Doubt to Confidence: an honest AMA with Tazmin Suleman on building belief, clarity, and momentum in your career.

Learn how to:

  • Reframe imposter syndrome and recognise the expertise you already have
  • Build confidence through small, consistent actions (even when you feel nervous)
  • Separate self-worth from work performance to avoid burnout
  • Communicate with confidence in presentations, meetings, and networking settings
  • Break big career moves into manageable steps that actually get done

Track and Test Your LLM Traffic
[Headline Sponsor: SEOTesting]

LLMs are now real discovery channels.

With SEOTesting, you can finally quantify them.

The LLM Traffic Pages Report shows you which pages attract visits from ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Copilot, and how that changes over time.

Then use our new LLM Test Type to run proper time-based tests on content or technical tweaks and measure uplift in LLM visits per day.

Valuable evidence that your stakeholders will trust.

WTSPartner Community-powered recruitment
[WTSPartner Feature: withFrontier]

Great hires don’t just come from job boards. They come from trusted communities.

That’s exactly what happened when withFrontier partnered with Women in Tech SEO to fill a highly specialised Head of SEO & Content role for Carmoola.

No mass outreach. No noise. Just the right role, shared in the right place.

In just 15 days, community-first hiring delivered:

7 high-quality candidate conversations in 24 hours

1 senior Head of SEO & Content role filled

1 WTS member placed into a dream role

By working with the community and not just recruiting from it, withFrontier proved that trust-led hiring surfaces deep expertise, fast.

When recruitment is built on real relationships, it stops being a numbers game and starts delivering results that work for everyone.

Our latest WTSInterview

Meet Kat Hill!

Kat is an experienced UK-based SEO Manager, with a proven track record in driving organic traffic growth and achieving measurable results.

Outside of work, she's a self-confessed tech nerd, enthusiastic foodie, and dedicated rugby prop, always ready to 'tackle' new challenges.

Meet our new WTS team members!

We’re thrilled to welcome two brilliant additions to the Women in Tech SEO team: Hannah Smith and Holly Durn 🎉

Hannah Smith joins WTS as Head of Content.

Hannah has been part of WTS since day zero and was the first person the idea was shared with, our first meetup speaker, and the first WTSFest emcee.

Most recently, she’s been our Editor-in-Chief, shaping the quality and care behind WTSKnowledge and our conference content.

If WTS content has ever made you feel seen or supported, Hannah likely played a role. She’ll now lead our content direction and member-led initiatives.

Holly Durn joins WTS as Head of Strategic Partnerships.

Bringing over 20 years of experience in business growth and strategic partnerships across digital, SaaS, and SEO.

From our first conversation, it was clear Holly not only brings exceptional experience, but she truly understands our mission and values. She’ll lead the development of meaningful global partnerships that support sustainable growth for our community.

Please join us in welcoming Hannah and Holly, we’re so excited to have them on the WTS team! ✨

If you've made it this far, thank YOU!

A reminder that everyone is more than welcome to subscribe.

We want to help amplify all the incredible people of marginalised genders in our industry, so the more people who subscribe, the more we'll achieve that as an industry.

Thanks,
Areej, Erin & Himee
