For Real Though: What Drives Growth in the AI Search Era?

"Gurus" abound, but what is actually driving growth in the AI search era? ChatGPT and classic search have instigated incredible shifts in how users access information and it's changing traffic. So where are the wins? This myth busting, tactical talk will focus on what still works in AI and classic search, versus what should be left in 2025.

How to Use Data to Get Buy-In for SEO: Real-World Strategies

To implement our SEO recommendations, we have to get buy-in from our stakeholders. But what if you're hitting a wall and they're not convinced? In this talk, you'll learn how to use data to get buy-in for your initiatives. Using data stories the right way, you'll be able to move from "this is a SEO best practice" to "this will have an impact, and this is why."

Crafting Content with Purpose: Making Your Words Work Harder

It's not just about ranking. Get ready to learn a practical framework to ensure you're crafting content with purpose - engaging readers, building trust and delivering impact long after you've appeared on page one. Expect clear steps and actionable takeaways you can use right away.

AI Search: Where Are We So Far & How to Win in the Current Landscape

Let’s explore the latest state of AI search: What’s the current level of adoption? Which players are leading the way? What actionable steps can we take to maximize our impact? This talk covers these topics and more to ensure your investment delivers value!

Debunking and Demystifying Generative Information Retrieval

The birth of Generative Information Retrieval was 2023, so we're only a couple of years into the biggest paradigm shift the search world has seen. 6 AI Content Workflows to Diversify your Traffic Sources

Everyone Needs an AI Agent in 2026...Except Me!

Everyone says AI agents and no-code tools will take over our jobs. Instead of debating, I tested it myself: automating keyword clustering with n8n, OpenAI, and Google Sheets. This talk shares the wins, the fails, and what it really means for SEO.

Reddit Joins the Search Wars: Building Authentic Content in an AI Era

This talk covers how AI is reshaping search and Reddit’s rising influence, why its content drives trust, key platform mechanics, brand engagement strategies, common pitfalls, how to use Reddit’s API for insights and ways to future-proof your brand voice.

Edges to Centre: Turning What Makes You Different Into Your Superpower

Does work make you feel like you need to change to fit in? SEO world is all about ranking to be visible and it can feel like that in your career too. How do you own your differences and create the career you want without having to be someone else?

Special Guest Fireside Chat with Hannah Smith

The WTS Way at WTSFest

The WTS Way is our code of conduct which sets out the behaviour we expect to maintain our friendly and welcoming community.

A safe space helps people speak up confidently, build authentic relationships, and grow together. We ask for all attendee's support at WTSFest in upholding The WTS Way to help everyone have a fantastic experience.

The WTS Way applies to our online community and our in-person events.

Exhibitors and sponsor attendees of all genders

We’re testing a small change at WTSFests, as a step towards a big WTS vision.

Our conference has historically been for attendees of marginalised genders -women, non-binary folks, transgender men, among many other gender expansive identities. WTSFest has always, and will continue, to center these folks.

We are expanding to include exhibitors and sponsors attendees of all genders, including cis-gendered men.

This is a small step toward our long-term goal of opening WTS spaces and a sense of belonging to all people in our industry.

Guided by The WTS Way, we'll all continue to practice what makes WTS so specialβ€” being a kind, helpful, respectful, and judgement-free community.
